Accommodation Terms & Conditions

Unless otherwise stated in your booking proposal or –confirmation, for all hotel bookings our terms of payment and cancellation policy are applicable.

Check-In/Check-Out:  Check in from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and check-out 12:00 noon.

Please note that our reception/front desk opens daily from 7:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm. If you request check-in our check-out outside of our operating hours, you are requested to inform us at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Terms of Payment: A down payment of 25% (minimum 1 night) is necessary, to secure the booking. The balance payment is due 14 days prior to arrival. If you cancel a booking for which you have contracted, we will do what we can to re-let the property, and if we are successful, we will refund any payment made by you, less an administrational fee of us$25.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation penalties: 30 days prior to arrival forfeit 25% (minimum penalty one night, whichever is the higher amount). 14 days prior to arrival forfeit 50% and 7 days or less prior to arrival, no show or early departure forfeit full payment for your booking. No refund of any part of the payment!

Special Terms of Payment for Nationals from Trinidad and Tobago only:

Terms of Payment and Cancellation Policy for stays during Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Jazz Festival - ALL guests:

If you cancel a booking for which you have contracted, we will do what we can to re-let the property, and if we are successful, we will refund any payment made by you, less an administrational fee of US$25.

The Bamboo Walk Hotel will only accept bookings of 5 nights and more over the periods stated above. The following terms and conditions apply:

Terms of payment and cancellation policy: A non-refundable down payment of 50% of the full payment is necessary, to secure the booking. The balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival with NO refund of any part of payment if cancelled after full payment!

If for any reason it proves necessary to make a change in your holiday booking by reason of the unexpected withdrawal of the property by the owner, or for some other reason, we will endeavor to make an alternative booking, or failing this we will refund to you any monies paid by you. The Bamboo Walk Hotel will only accept liability for economic loss or compensation claims when the cancellation was caused owing to negligence of the property owner or his representative.

We kindly ask you to keep all furnishings, fixtures, fittings and effects of your rented room in the same state of repair and condition it was in at the commencement of the holiday. In default of such obligation, you are obliged to reimburse the owner against any costs incurred by the owner in remedying such default. You will be responsible for any damage or loss to the accommodation itself, the furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects. Anything broken, lost or damaged should forthwith be repaired or replaced with an article of similar type and value. Any damage or breakage should be reported to the property Management, and paid for before departure

If you feel you have a genuine complaint in respect of your accommodation at the Bamboo Walk Hotel, please report this immediately to the owner/manager of the property.

Note: * A security deposit of 300 TTD/50 USD is due upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, assuming no damages to the room.
